Odoo, configured for how your business runs in Saudi Arabia

Most Odoo rollouts stall because the modules go in generic and nobody adapts them to VAT, ZATCA or Arabic paperwork. We scope, configure and hand over a version your team actually uses.

The direct answer

Odoo implementation is the configuration and rollout of Odoo's accounting, inventory, sales and HR modules for a specific company, not just installing the software. For a Saudi business this means VAT-correct chart of accounts, ZATCA-compliant invoicing, Arabic document templates and user permissions that match how your team actually approves work. We build it, migrate your data into it and train your staff on it.

Before and after

What this removes.

Spreadsheets that don't talk to each other

Today

Sales tracks orders in one sheet, accounting reconciles in another, inventory counts happen by walking the warehouse.

With the system

One system where a sale updates stock, triggers the invoice and shows up in accounting automatically.

ZATCA compliance bolted on late

Today

Invoices get raised manually, then someone reformats them to pass ZATCA phase two before month end.

With the system

Invoices generate ZATCA-compliant from the point of sale, with the QR code and hash chain built in.

Odoo installed but never adapted

Today

A previous vendor switched on default modules and left. Half the screens are in English only and nobody trusts the numbers.

With the system

Modules configured to your chart of accounts, your approval chain and your Arabic and English document needs.

No visibility across branches

Today

Each branch or warehouse keeps its own records, and pulling a consolidated view takes a week of emails.

With the system

One dashboard across branches, with stock levels and sales figures updated as transactions happen.

The delivery plan

Five stages. You sign off every one.

Read each stage as a small contract: what we need from you, what lands in your hands, and the sentence that has to be true before we move on.

01 / 05

Scoping and data audit

3 to 5 days

We map your current processes, chart of accounts and the data sitting in spreadsheets or an old system, and agree exactly which modules go live first.

What you do
  • Share current process and data
  • Confirm which modules matter most
What we deliver
  • Module and scope map
  • Data migration plan
Exit criteria

We move on when the scope and data source list are signed off by both sides.

02 / 05

Core configuration

1 to 2 weeks

Accounting, inventory and sales modules get configured against your chart of accounts, VAT rules and warehouse structure, in a sandbox environment.

What you do
  • Review the sandbox setup
  • Flag anything that doesn't match reality
What we deliver
  • Configured sandbox instance
  • VAT and ZATCA setup
Exit criteria

We move on when the sandbox mirrors your real accounting and stock structure.

03 / 05

Data migration and testing

1 week

Customer, supplier, product and opening balance data moves into the system, and we run test transactions to confirm the numbers reconcile.

What you do
  • Provide clean source data
  • Spot check migrated records
What we deliver
  • Migrated and validated data
  • Test transaction log
Exit criteria

We move on when opening balances and stock counts match the source records.

04 / 05

Training and go live prep

3 to 5 days

Your team gets hands on training in Arabic or English on the screens they'll use daily, and we run a final check before switching over.

What you do
  • Attend role-based training sessions
  • Approve the go live date
What we deliver
  • Training sessions by role
  • Go live checklist
Exit criteria

We move on when your team can complete a full transaction cycle without help.

05 / 05

Live operation and support

30 days included

The system goes live for real transactions. We stay on call for fixes, small configuration changes and questions during the first month.

What you do
  • Run real transactions in the live system
  • Report anything that looks off
What we deliver
  • Priority fixes during support window
  • Handover documentation
Exit criteria

We move on when a month of live transactions has passed with no open issues.

Buyer questions

Asked before signing.

How is an Odoo implementation priced?

Price is based on the number of modules, users and how much data needs migrating, not a flat package fee. A single-branch accounting and inventory setup costs less than a multi-branch rollout with custom modules. We give a fixed quote after the scoping stage, once we've seen your actual data and process.

Can Odoo handle ZATCA e-invoicing properly?

Yes, with the integration configured correctly. Odoo needs a ZATCA-compliant invoicing setup added on top of the base accounting module, covering the QR code, cryptographic stamp and XML submission format required for phase two. We configure and test this as part of the accounting module build.

Will the system work in Arabic for our team?

Yes. Odoo supports Arabic as an interface language and we build document templates, invoices and reports so they render correctly right to left. Most teams run a mix, with finance and admin in Arabic and management dashboards in English, and that split is normal.

What happens to our existing data during migration?

Your customer, supplier, product and financial data gets exported, cleaned and mapped into Odoo's structure before go live, and we test it against your source records before anyone works in the live system. Nothing in your current system gets deleted or changed during this process.
